About
Fine Arts by Nicole
My name is Nicole Bobholz and I have been painting for as long as I can remember! I am here to bring your vision to life on canvas, from painting a portrait of your dog to a custom painting for your wall to capturing a special moment on your wedding day. There is something so magical about a piece of art, especially one created just for you. With just a simple glance, a painting has the ability to spark feelings of emotion and bring you back to a place in time. The best part about paint is that anything is possible. If you have a crazy idea, let’s do it! I’m here to make it happen.
I paint with a whimsical colorful style and love to play with lighting in my paintings. Throughout the past few years, I have been featured in several art galleries and publications. I was a featured artist on CNN/HLN and created a live painting on the their network. I was also the youngest of 64 artists in the public art project, The Bucky on Parade, and was the 2nd highest selling artist with all proceeds donated to charity. My artwork expands internationally to rural Kenya, where I created a large scale mural.

Beyond the canvas
After graduating from UW-Madison in 2019, my husband Sam and I moved to Milwaukee with our two adopted kittens, Ladybird and Lil' Beethoven. (Sam came up with the names).
In my free time, I love to experiment with new art forms and cook! I am currently making a mixed media Christmas stocking, with beads, paint and thread. My goal is to create an elaborate Christmas stocking for everyone in my life throughout the next few years.
